My preliminary task gave me the opportunity to practice my interviewing and recording skills before it came to the final production piece. This was an important tester as it gave me a chance to practice with my chosen presenters and reporters. The reason that this task was so important to do was because it gave me a clue as to how long I would have to prepare and produce my main task recording.
